Circle K Latvia: Fuel Prices, Loyalty Card and What to Expect
Everything you need to know about Circle K fuel stations in Latvia - prices, the Circle K app, XTL synthetic fuel and nationwide coverage.
Who Is Circle K in Latvia?
Circle K is Latvia’s largest fuel station network, operating more than 60 stations across the country. The chain is owned by Alimentation Couche-Tard, a Canadian convenience retail giant, and the Circle K brand was introduced across the Baltic states when Couche-Tard rebranded the former Statoil stations in 2016. If you have been driving in Latvia for more than a decade, you likely remember filling up at a Statoil - the sites are mostly the same, but the branding and loyalty programme have changed substantially.
In Latvia, Circle K competes directly with Virši, Neste and Viada for the everyday driver’s business. Its main advantage is sheer coverage: you will find a Circle K on most major roads, in city centres, and at key motorway junctions throughout the country.
Current Prices
As of April 2026, Circle K Latvia prices sit in the mid-range compared to its competitors:
| Fuel | Circle K | Market Average |
|---|---|---|
| Diesel | 2.134 €/L | 2.131 €/L |
| Petrol 95 | 1.844 €/L | 1.813 €/L |
| Petrol 98 | 1.914 €/L | 1.887 €/L |
| Dmiles+ (premium diesel) | 2.264 €/L | - |
| XTL synthetic diesel | 2.770 €/L | - |
| LPG | 1.085 €/L | - |
Circle K’s standard diesel is almost exactly at the market average, while its petrol is a few cents above. If lowest possible price is your only goal, Neste edges Circle K out on diesel, and Viada ADUS automated stations are considerably cheaper. But Circle K’s value proposition is broader than the pump price alone.
Fuel Brand Names at Circle K
Circle K Latvia sells fuel under a branded range: standard petrol is 95miles, the premium petrol is 98miles+, standard diesel is Dmiles, and the premium diesel is Dmiles+. These branded names are marketing designations rather than fundamentally different fuels in terms of source, but the premium variants do contain a higher additive package aimed at engine cleanliness and long-term performance.
For drivers who want to go a step further, Circle K also offers XTL - a synthetic diesel (also called gas-to-liquid or GTL diesel) at 2.770 €/L. XTL is nearly sulphur-free, burns cleaner than conventional diesel, and can reduce particulate emissions. It is compatible with any diesel engine and requires no modification. The trade-off is cost: at 2.770 €/L it is significantly more expensive than standard diesel.
LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) is available at selected Circle K stations at 1.085 €/L, the same price as Virši’s LPG offering.
The Circle K App
Circle K’s loyalty programme runs through the Circle K app, available on iOS and Android. The programme is one of the more actively used loyalty systems among Latvian drivers, and for good reason.
Circle K EXTRA offers cents-per-litre discounts that accumulate the more you use Circle K. The app also tracks your fill-up history and receipts digitally, which is useful for business drivers who need expense records. Periodic promotions - often tied to a minimum number of fills - offer free coffee or car wash vouchers, and Circle K regularly runs partner discount campaigns through the app.
Importantly, Circle K EXTRA works across Circle K stations throughout the Baltics, not just Latvia. If you drive regularly to Estonia or Lithuania, your savings carry across borders.
Coverage and Facilities
With 60-plus stations, Circle K has the widest coverage of any chain in Latvia. Most sites include a convenience store, hot food counter, coffee machines, and clean restrooms. Many major stations also include a car wash. For drivers on longer journeys, Circle K is often the most reliably present option.
The station design is modern and consistent, lit well at night, and generally well-maintained. Payment is accepted by card and cash at all manned stations.
Verdict
Circle K is the sensible default for most Latvian drivers. It may not offer the cheapest fuel in the market - Neste is slightly cheaper on standard diesel and Viada ADUS undercuts everyone - but its combination of nationwide coverage, a genuinely useful loyalty app, and a broad range of fuel types (including XTL and LPG at selected sites) makes it a reliable choice. If you fill up regularly and sign up for Circle K EXTRA, the per-litre discounts start to make the effective price more competitive.
